COMPUTERISED AND INTEGRATED CLOSING OPERATIONS

The aim of the CICLOP project is to provide a global innovative approach to the closing activities of the shoe manufacturing process, by increasing the flexibility of this delicate and highly labour intensive phase. In particular, the flexibility aim (manufacturing of small batches of shoes) will be achieved by improving closing machines, the distribution system of components inside the stitching room and, finally, by integrating all the performed operations in a production control and planning system (from the post-cutting, upstream, to the assembly and lasting phase, downstream).
